Overdraft Opt-In-Out Form

An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. Federal regulations provide certain protections for bank customers when their accounts are overdrawn.

You have a choice whether to opt in to our overdraft protection program. If you qualify for Overdraft Privilege and you opt in, we may, at our discretion, authorize and pay overdrafts for your ATM transactions and everyday debit card transactions and charge you a fee for doing so. We do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. You will pay nothing for Overdraft Privilege unless you actually use the service.

If you qualify for Overdraft Privilege and you do not opt in, we will decline your ATM withdrawals and debit card transactions at point-of-sale terminals if you do not have enough money in your account to cover the withdrawal or purchase.

If you received a letter from us stating that you qualify for Overdraft Privilege, and you would like to extend overdraft coverage to your ATM and debit card transactions, please click the link below and select the opt-in option. If you wish to opt out of overdraft coverage for ATM and debit card transactions, click the link below and select the opt-out option. Your Overdraft Privilege protection will not be canceled just because you opt out of ATM and debit card coverage. You may also call us at (217)726-0660 to request an opt-in or opt-out. Any opt-in requests for accounts that do not have Overdraft Privilege will not be considered.
