Junior Money Masters: Teaching Kids About Earning

Marine Bank's Junior Money Masters campaign is providing resources to help you teach your kids about important financial concepts May through July. We will be focusing on three key topics each month: earning, saving and spending.

During the month of May, our Junior Money Masters Campaign is focused on teaching kids the importance of earning. There are lots of fun opportunities you can find to help your little one better understand what it means to earn an income.

One fun idea is to take your child to work with you to show them how and why you earn an income. Paul Provart, our South Branch Manager, decided to bring his son, Evan, to work with him so he could experience how his dad spends his day.

Evan started the day off right by bringing in donuts for the staff. He also learned about checking and savings accounts, helped his dad balance his checkbook, ran the drawer, stamped 21 savings bonds, and sent out lots of tubes to our customers in the drive-thru.

He even got lunch at one of his favorite places, Cozy Dog!! Evan said he really enjoyed counting money, running coin and talking to customers the most.
