Vice President Mike Gillespie has earned a reputation for getting things done. Since starting his career as a teller at Marine Bank more than 15 years ago, he has proven time and again that he is willing to go the extra mile for his customers.

Mike treats your business like it's his own. Besides tailoring financing packages to meet your unique needs, Mike is always on the lookout for opportunities to help you improve your processes, your cash flow and your bottom line. His dozen years of experience in consumer lending, credit analysis and commercial lending are at your service.

A lifelong resident of Springfield, Mike earned bachelor's degrees in business administration and accounting from Illinois College. He invests in himself through continuing education, including taking the exams to become a licensed investment manager.

Mike supports our community through the American Businessmen's Club of Springfield and its fundraising activities for charitable causes such as United Cerebral Palsy. He also serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County. In his free time, he enjoys golf and watching and participating in a variety of other sports.
